Hello. I’m Francesca, and I come from England originally. As a child I enjoyed being outside in the muddy fields of the English countryside, and I still enjoy being outside in the westcoast rainforest of Canada, where I live today.

I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to study the ancient living wisdom of this beautiful planet, especially the revealed knowledge of Mother India.

I travelled to Northern India in 1994. This is when I decided that I would like to learn and teach Yoga. Although it took many years to actualize, in 2003, I enrolled in the first Yoga Teacher Training at Semperviva Studio, in Vancouver. Soon I was teaching 3 yoga classes a week alongside my full-time massage and manual therapy practice.

Another decade later, after a difficult time of loss and illness, I worked and studied in a traditional Yoga ashram, practising yogi life and learning ayurvedic wisdom in order to heal myself. Sivananda calls Ayurveda the science of self-healing and Yoga the science of self-realization. I experience both of these gifts as a result of these practices, and continue this ongoing journey of revelation.

Most recently, I completed two year-long Ayurveda Wellness Counselling and Ayurveda Yoga certifications with the Sarasvati Institute in Oregon.

My zone of joy and passion is the honouring and naming of the Sacred Feminine to empower women to create more inner harmony in our lives. The goal of this ancient wisdom for women is to feel unity within the yin/yang forces of our lives before we interact with a world that was not created by us or for The Feminine.

In Yogic philosophy, it is said that we are in the time of the return of The Great Goddess energy, the Divine Mother, back to Earth. I feel this Goddess, known as Brigid in Celtic lore, or Shakti in Vedic, is educating us all on how to treat her, as Mother Nature, the Earth, and as the way we care for our own body-minds and our relationships with ourselves and eachother.

My life experience and education has brought me here, to guide women longing for this living wisdom in their daily lives.
